About this book
When I was in my twenties, I worked for a company in Palo Alto, California. I had a boss who was very strict. He was a former military man and he treated us like we were in the military. When I was sick or had to take the day off, I was afraid to call and let my boss know that I wasn't going to be that day. He didn't like us taking time off and he would get upset.
One day my boss told us his daughter had committed suicide. My boss said she had everything to live for and she was a fool to commit suicide.
He kept blaming her and calling her a stupid kid.
I didn't know her, but I felt sorry for her and him.
Never think killing yourself will solve your problem.
This book is based on a true story. Jim, the ghost boy, is a fictional character. He helps his sister Lorna throughout the book
